…cos I need a job.

Okay not really (but really!), but Australian creatives are fighting for our careers and the future of the Australian screen industry at the moment. More and more overseas content is filling our free to air and streaming services, we’re not just losing jobs, but our cultural identity. And now an American network has purchased Channel 10…

The “Make it Australian” campaign – a collaboration between the Writer’s, Director’s and Producer’s Guilds of Australia, and the Media Entertainment and Arts Alliance – is being launched on 18 September around Australia. You can take action here, or just keep an eye out for forthcoming events and battle cries.
